〖版主回复〗Are you a member in my group? If yes, let's talk about CET-4 sometime later as soon as possible. Or I will offer a lecture on CET-4 sometime in November. By the way, I will try to make my handwriting as clearly as possible to you. I am sorry for that. |

〖版主回复〗My advice for you is that you'd better have a plan for a week and for each day. In the plan you need to list all the things you need to do in the week and in the day. Divide what is necessary and what is not necessary. Determine how much time you have for each. By so doing you can have a carefully-designed plan. Next problem is that you need specific measures to carry out your plan. Welcome back when you have more detailed problems. :-) |

Mr Wang,I am a English majour.and now I have some problems.aftering learning four years at university,I did not feel that I get much ,sometimes I sm also warried for I still can not express myself in English perfectly,for example,when I meet foreign teccher on occasion,I usually do not know what should I say.I BUY 21ST everyweek and recite many useful and beautiful sentences,but can not use then properly or can not express my ideas or thougts in class.when I go through the magazine or some books ,I appreciate those who write so beautiful articles with nice and proper words,meanwhile I would doubt my ability and feel dismayed mad frustrated.I consider it a danger problem .still I do not know how to solve it.so I turn to you for help. Thanks very much.

〖版主回复〗I don't think you have a problem of ability, but I think you have problems of confidence and belief. No one can express him/herself perfectly including myself. I think you can express yourself perfectly, for I can understand you very well. Just collect your courage, find a small topic and have a short conversation with foreigners. By and by, you are able to have longer and longer conversation with them. |

I try my best to remember the words and the sentence ,but I do not remember them .I think I have no intelligence to learn English.When I enter the college I have to learn it,because I chose it as my major .In fact ,I do not like the English,however ,at that time ,I have no choice but English.At first ,I believe that nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it.But now I am at
loss |

〖版主回复〗Let me divide your problem into two. First I want you to understand that you are here to learn English rather than remembering English words or sentences though they are important parts of English learning. Do you know how well you learn English? You learn English sooooo well. You express yourself in English perfectly. I did not find obvious problems in yuor message, and I can understand you perfectly. Second, there is a saying in English which goes like this: Choice on one's own choice is not heavy (自选的担子不嫌沉). When you chose English as your major, don't amplifier the difficulties you meet in English learning. I think you have sufficient ability to overcome them. As for the difficulty in remembering words and sentences, I think it a good way: 1) don't remember many words in one time; 2) repeat them in different days. |

My listening ability isnt very good,could you give me some advice?Do you think "listening to English music"is a good way?
|

〖版主回复〗Hi, it is nice to have your message. You are the first of my own studens to leave me the message. You need to have intensive and extensive listening training when you want to improve your listening ability. By intensive listening I mean you need to try to understand every single word in the material you listen to. Therefore, listening to English songs/music is one good way. However, you need to try to understand every single word. By so doing, you can improve your ability in listening. One more thing is that you need to be patient enough, for you may have difficulties in doing so. Welcome back when you have more problems. :-) |

〖版主回复〗I have two points to make: 1) everyone has his/her own life style. The lady in your office has got married although she is in her 30s. It is ok in my eyes. 2) DC: digital camera? I have seen your pictures. Thank you very much. You are quite handsome, and sunny in the pictures. |

MrWang;
Thanks for your answer,but i have a new question here.It is said that in chinese the vowel can only followed by a nasal consonent,then how to understand the sound"hua",the vowel u is followed by vowel a. |
![]() |
〖版主回复〗Well, I like your dilligence. /ua/, I think, can be considered as one vowel, and /u/ again can be considered as /w/, which is a semi-vowel. I am sorry I cannot tell you more. Ask a person who is from the Department of Chinese. |

〖版主回复〗Haha, never mind. Need is very important, for it comes before motivation. I offer you need for a picture of you, and you will then have motivation. When you have motivation, you will work hard to buy a digital camera. Is my analysis logical? |
